Pachisi

Ages: 6 and above. Players: 2 to 4. Play Time: 30 minutes. Dive into the classic game of Pachisi! You can play as two individual players or team up in opposing partnerships of two. Each player controls four pieces, with a total of eight per partnership. The pieces start at the center space, then move down the middle track closest to the player and go counterclockwise around the outer track of the board. Unlike the original version that uses 6 cowrie shells or coins for movement, this version uses 2 dice to determine your moves, adding a modern twist to this timeless game.

How to play: First, gather 2 to 4 players aged 6 or older. Each player gets four pieces. If you're playing in partnerships, each team has eight pieces. Place all pieces at the center space of the board. To start moving your pieces, roll the two dice. Move your pieces down the middle track nearest to you and then continue counter - clockwise around the outer track. The goal is to move all your pieces around the track. Notes: Remember, this version uses two dice instead of the original six cowrie shells or coins. Make sure to keep the dice on the board while rolling. Maintenance: Keep the board and pieces in a dry place. If the board gets dirty, you can wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Store the pieces in a container to avoid losing them.
