Word Heist

Ages: 10 and above. Players: 2 to 5. Play Time: around 20 minutes. Word Heist is a thrilling game of lifted letters. It unfolds in two exciting acts. First, secretly craft a word using the letters in the gallery. You can earn bonuses for using featured letters and meeting the conditions in the vault. Then, drop as many clues as you're brave enough about your word. The more clues you leave, the higher your potential score. But beware! If someone guesses your word, they'll steal your points. The goal is to haul away the most points and become the master word thief. Contents include 30 player tokens, 26 letter cards, 20 vault cards, 6 player boards, 6 dry - erase markers, 1 game board, and the Rules of Play.

How to play: First, gather 2 to 5 players aged 10 or above. Set up the game by laying out the game board, player boards, and distributing the tokens, letter cards, and vault cards. Each player gets a dry - erase marker. In the first act, secretly form a word using the letters in the gallery. Try to use featured letters and meet the vault conditions to get bonuses. In the second act, start dropping clues about your word. The more clues you give, the more points you can potentially score, but there's a risk that another player will guess your word and steal your score. The player with the most points at the end wins. Note: Make sure to keep your word a secret until enough clues are dropped. When using the dry - erase markers on the player boards, don't press too hard to avoid damaging the board. Maintenance: Keep the cards in a dry place to prevent them from getting wet or damaged. After each game, wipe the player boards clean with a soft cloth using the dry - erase markers' erasers.
