Using your MYVIT 4 - Stage Professional Knife & Scissor Sharpening Stone Set is easy. First, for scissors, use Stage 1. Simply place the scissor blade into the slot and gently pull it through a few times. For dull or damaged knives, start with Stage 2. The carbide blades here will quickly get your knife's edge back in shape. Just hold the knife at a consistent angle and pull it through the slot about 3 - 5 times. Next, move to Stage 3. The ceramic rods in this stage will polish and finish the edge. Run the knife through a couple of times for a nice, sharp finish. If you have a ceramic knife or need precise grinding, use Stage 4. When using the sharpener, always make sure to keep it on a flat surface. The anti - slip rubber base helps with stability, but it's still important to be careful. Also, be aware of the blade's sharpness and handle it with care. As for maintenance, after each use, wipe the sharpener clean with a dry cloth. You can also use a mild soap and water solution occasionally, but make sure to dry it thoroughly. Keep it in a dry place when not in use to prevent rust and damage.
