Once assembled, use the special key to wind up the spring - powered locomotive. Then, twist the smokestack Start/Stop switch to start the train. You can place it on any smooth, flat surface, and watch it chug along for up to 4 meters with the tender and carriage, or 6 meters if it's just the locomotive. For a nice display, set up the included track section and Platform 9 ¾ buffer stop. When not in use, store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the wood from warping. If any pieces get dirty, gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using any harsh chemicals or getting the model wet as it could damage the delicate parts.
